The PCSA was designed to allow healthcare professionals to focus on their career development. This will allow primary care providers to identify training needs and CPD progress supporting your goals.

How do I search for a course?

Once you are successfully logged in you will be taken to your personal dashboard.

To search for a course, you can either use the option at the top centre of the page or to the top left of the page click on Courses > Find a Course

What is a Skills Assessment?

The Skills Assessment has been created to provide 2 key outcomes:

  1. Through self-assessment, you will be able to identify your competency level for each essential and desirable skill relevant for your role. This will create a clear report showing you your training needs and interests.
  2. As a provider you will be able to identify any gaps in knowledge and experience and put plans in place to ensure training is considered to meet local health needs.

Why should I use My CPD & Revalidation?

‘MY CPD’ has been created to save you time and keep track of your ongoing CPD activity to ensure you are complying with national standards.

Everything that you need to evidence your career development is in one place.

How do I update my CPD log and Clinical Hours?

When you click into either of these options there will be a box on the right-hand side like this. Fill out the relevant information, upload the relevant certification and click log hours, this will then save to your existing logs and will update your rolling 12-month CPD & Clinical Hours on the dashboard.

What reports can I run?

The reports have been designed to benefit you, the practice and the patients, what are they?

Keen to Improve – This will give the practice full view of teams training needs by individual. There may be a number of subject’s multiple team members are interested in that would benefit the practice and the patients

Practice Skills – By being able to see a traffic light system of your team’s capabilities will allow you to identify any gaps in patient care opportunities to develop your workforce
